George Casey
|
George Casey is the President of Stockbridge Associates LLC, a consultancy based in Freeport, Maine and has over 40 years’ experience in the real estate industry, including serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Orleans Homes (Bensalem, PA), Christopherson Homes (Santa Rosa, CA) and Zaring Homes (Cincinnati, OH), guiding each through significant organizational change. He also has led the development of several major master planned communities. George is a frequent speaker at the Pacific Coast Builder’s Conference (PCBC), the Housing Leadership Conference, and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, and is a Governor of the Urban Land Institute Foundation. He is also the author of articles for Builder and Professional Builder magazines on topics involving strategy for homebuilders and residential developers and wrote the book “Is the Juice Worth the Squeeze: The Valuable Habit of Learning from Your Business Experiences”. George serves as the Chair of a Vistage CEO Private Peer Advisory Board for large company CEOs, owners, and senior executives in the Portland, Maine area and is a member of the Board of the Dingley Press. A Navy veteran, George served two tours in Viet Nam as a Lieutenant leading Construction Battalion (Seabee) projects in the Mekong Delta and is a recipient of the Bronze Star medal along with other decorations. George received his MBA, with academic distinction, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Matt Field
|
Matt Field is the Chief Investment Officer for TMG Partners, the largest private developer in San Francisco. Matt has 30 years of commercial real estate experience, including development, finance, leasing and project management. Matt has been with TMG Partners since 1993 and is responsible for managing acquisitions and dispositions, while supporting the firm’s development activities with lead responsibility for the real estate portfolio. Matt also chairs this Investment Committee. Matt has been responsible for over $3 billion of acquisitions and dispositions for TMG since 2003. Previously, he was responsible for managing complex entitlement and development projects. Prior to TMG: Matt worked at Catellus Development Corporation in corporate financial analysis and major asset acquisitions and dispostions. His prior experience also includes work at Sedway Associates and Halcyon Real Estate Advisors. Matt has a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Political Science from the University of Colorado.

Nick Russell
|
Nick Russell is a Partner at Tuckerman Capital, a private investment firm focused on niche industrial manufacturing and service companies where he focuses on all aspects of Tuckerman’s business including originating and executing investments with enterprise values ranging from $5 million to $50 million, board level governance, strategic and operational engagement with portfolio companies, and investor facing activities. Prior to Tuckerman, Mr. Russell was a principal and co-founding team member at North Star Advisors, a boutique advisory firm serving private investment funds. Before North Star, Mr. Russell was a member of the private equity team at Mercer Management Consulting (now part of the Oliver Wyman Group) where he advised clients on investments as well as corporate growth and turnaround initiatives. Nick has been a board member of several Tuckerman portfolio companies including TRS Global, Freedom Communication Technologies, Pacific Northern, Six-15 Technologies, and Orthofeet. Nick is a Trustee of the Upper Valley Land Trust and has served on the Dartmouth Alumni Council. Nick received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business and a AB from Dartmouth College.

John Vogel
|
John Vogel has served on the faculty of the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth since 1992. He currently teaches Real Estate and Entrepreneurship in the Social Sector, and the “Business Week Guide” to Business Schools named him as one of Tuck’s “Outstanding Faculty” members. He serves as Associate Faculty director for the Center for Business and Society. John began his real estate career in 1982 as one of the founders of Copley Real Estate Advisors which grew to be the third largest manager of real estate investments for pension funds. He then worked as Senior Vice President for the Raymond Development Company helping to develop major projects in the Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston. Additionally, as the executive director of the Neighborhood Development Corporation of Jamaica Plain (NDC), John led projects including the renovation of “The Brewery” into a small business center and the development of a retail complex anchored by Stop and Shop. John has been quoted in such publications as the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Smart Money, Bloomberg and National Public Radio and is the author or co-author of approximately 100 Harvard Business School and Tuck Business School case studies. He has co-authored two books, written chapters in several other books and written numerous articles about real estate and non-profit management. In addition to Tuck, John has served on the faculty of Harvard Business School, the Harvard Graduate School of Design and The Yale School of Management. He has also served on a variety on non-profit boards, including serving as chairman of The Greater Boston Food Bank and Twin Pines Housing Trust and currently serves on the board of the HOPE foundation, Housing Vermont and the Montshire Museum.
